Japanese Students Visit Four Oaks
On Thursday 11th March a group of 16 Japanese secondary school students visited Four Oaks Primary School to work with Year 6 and the pupils were able to exchange ideas and songs about their respective countries. The Year 6 pupils sang the school song and delivered a presentation about our school. Click here to view the presentation*. The Japanese students sang songs, performed a tea ceremony, and then showed the Year 6 pupils how to write Japanese calligraphy and how to fold paper shapes, passing on their origami skills.
Below is a video compilation of this exciting and very different afternoon in school. We hope you enjoy it and that for Year 6 they bring back some happy memories !
