Year 6 Architectural Workshop
On Tuesday 9th October, Year 6 had an Ancient Greek Architectural workshop. Each class had the opportunity to explore the history behind Ancient Greek structures and to look at the mathematics involved in architecture. After learning the skills of binding, the pupils worked in teams to create the pillars and the roofing.
Finally they coordinated their efforts to raise their Ancient Greek temple. It stood at over 2.5 metres tall, could fit at least 30 people in it and was made with only rods and elastic bands!
