We would like all parents to read this message.
During our ‘I’m a clever writer’ sessions this year, the children have created some writing masterpieces and now is the chance for them to use their creative talents by entering the 500 words competition. There are prizes to be won and a wonderful ceremony to attend for those children who make it to the grand final of the competition.
As homework for the next two weeks, every child has been asked to create a story that they can submit to the 500 words competition. We would like to foster a love of creative writing and appreciate your support with this. It is their chance to be innovative and can be about anything that they would like to write about.

Please could your child also send their entry into school either in paper form or email it to your child’s teacher. One child from each class will be selected to have their entry put in this half term’s edition of the school newspaper.
Entries should be sent back to school by Friday 11th October.
